Prof. Steven C. Hayes PhD is a Foundation Professor of Psychology in the Behavior Analysis Program at the University of Nevada Reno. He's the originator and the co-developer of "Acceptance and Commitment Therapy" or "ACT" which is one of the most widely used and researched new methods of psychological intervention over the last 20 years. He's the author of nearly 50 books and 700 scientific articles. Methods he developed are distributed worldwide by the World Health Organization and other major agencies. Dr. Hayes has received several national awards, such as the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapy. His popular book "Get Out of Your Mind and Into Your Life" for a time was the best-selling self-help book in the United States, and his new book "A Liberated Mind" has been recently released to wide acclaim. His TEDx talks and blogs have been viewed or read by over three million people, and he is ranked among the most cited psychologists in the world.

Dr. Emanuele Rossi PhD is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and a Licensed Cognitive-Behavioral Psychotherapist and he works in private practice in Italy. He’s a Peer-Reviewed ACT trainer. He’s a professional member of the Association for Contextual Behavioral Science (ACBS). He works as ACT/RFT/CBS trainer, supervisor and researcher in Italy and as process-based CBT trainer/supervisor in Clinical Schools of Psychotherapy APC-SPC Srl. He’s an Accredited Therapist by European Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Therapies (EABCT), member of ACT Italia and trainer member of Società Italiana di Terapia Comportamentale e Cognitiva (SITCC). He edited the Italian translation of several ACT/CBS books as "Learning RFT" (Törneke, 2010), "Learning ACT, 2nd Ed" (Luoma, Hayes, and Walser, 2017), "ACT for Adolescents" (Turrell, and Bell, 2016), "ACT Advanced" (Westrup, 2014), "Process-Based CBT" (Hayes, and Hofmann, 2018). He’s the author of "La guida essenziale all'ACT".
